History
 Irwin Rausch, one of the original German settlers in Fredericksburg, built the rock room in the Ranch Haus in the 1850’s. It included a cellar (used as the kitchen), the ground living floor, and an upstairs sleeping room. The present kitchen, bedroom, bath, and utility room were added later.
